About Us:

Life Jacket for Teachers was developed by Robbin Wardlaw, in an effort to save the myriad of excellent teachers who are so overwhelmed with the demands and negativity in the education profession that they are considering another job. Good teachers are vital to our society. Think of all the students who need dedicated and effective teachers!
Robbin has been teaching for 13 years. She has worked in both rural and suburban school systems. She has been a member of the Midland's chapter of the National Writing Project for almost all of her teaching career, where she has both served on the board and been a teacher consultant. She became
Nationally Board Certified during her fourth year of teaching, and then assisted candidates in their own quest to improve their craft and be recognized for teaching excellence. She recieved her masters in divergent learning from Columbia College in Columbia, SC in 2006. She has
served on textbook adoption committees, been the SACS school committee chair-person, and has been a mentor to new teachers.
Robbin has taught all levels - from AP to remedial HSAP preparation.
She has been involved in many facets of education at the school level, and shares her experience through the strategies in Life Jacket for Teachers.
Most importantly, according to Robbin, is the fact that she's worked with 1,854 students and counting...
